Red Cat Jazz Preservation Society 501(c)(3) The Organization Red Cat Jazz Preservation Society, Inc. is a non-profit corporation operating and governed by the laws of the State of Texas exclusively for development of charitable, educational, and cultural and the arts with the preservation of all forms of Jazz characterized by improvisation, syncopation, artful rhythm that begin at the beginning of the 20th Century of music genere of African Americans. The Art of European instruments of Brass and Woodwind instruments, piano with occasional guitar and violin are used that are associated with jazz. Our specific and primary purposes are to raise and promote community-wide interest in the preservation of Jazz and musical heritage for the 21st century. Our
Our Vision Statement: The vision of the Red Cat Jazz Preservation Society, Inc. is to serve as a conduit for the worldview of musical heritage of Jazz with styles including Ragtime, Dixieland, Swing, Bebop, Free and Contemporary Jazz that is multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and cross-genre for educational purposes within in Harris, Brazoria, and Galveston County and within the state of Texas, throughout the United States and throughout the world
Mission Statement: The mission of Red Cat Jazz Preservation Society, Inc. is to promote social and economic development through the cultural arts of the genre of “Jazz Preservation” with protecting, preserving and perpetuating all genres of Jazz. Red Cat Jazz Preservation Society produces weekly and monthly dinner show concerts and signature events that are open to the public and several “Private” events for the corporate and non-profit organizations. Our goal is to provide the very best Jazz entertainment while reinvesting in our community.
